What Does Female Strong Mean to You?

After more than three decades in youth development, I’ve learned that lasting confidence isn’t built through words alone. It grows when young people are trusted with responsibility, exposed to new possibilities, and surrounded by people who see their potential before they see it themselves.

To me, Female Strong is about possibility. Female Strong understands that leadership is not something girls grow into someday, it is something they practice now. Through transformative opportunities and exposure to accomplished women, Female Strong helps girls develop the confidence and perspective that will serve them for a lifetime.



It creates the moments and mentorship that help young women see themselves differently and recognize opportunities they may not have imagined for themselves. Those moments matter. They shape confidence, broaden horizons, and become the experiences young women draw upon as they make choices, pursue opportunities, and define their own unique paths.
